Renovation sparks new life for building

This iconic mid century building underwent a major renovation to give it a new life. The evocative brise soleil¹ pattern is derived from the original tenant's core business. The exterior LED lighting scheme is a temporary nod to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Where am I and what is the building? For extra credit name the architect!
